Articles and blog posts are useful for educating your readers and prospects about a specific technology, or a particular aspect of your industry. They lend credibility to your company, and like white papers, are designed to position your firm as a leader and expert in the field.
Further down the road, this perceived expertise can dramatically increase the effectiveness of your other marketing efforts, leading to actual sales.
Usually shorter than white papers, an article doesn’t take as much time to research and write. However, due diligence still needs to be done, and so 1 or 2 interviews and substantial planning can be expected, depending on my familiarity with the topic.
